EcoPro Training Center

EcoPro will deliver daily free marine biology classes on marine environments and conduct marine surveys on coral reef communities and other habitats. At the end of the week, we will appreciate our alumni with an EcoPro bag that includes a wall certificate of participation, a statement of 20 Hrs in marine eco expeditions, a shield honor, a sticker, and a brochure.

Reef Check EcoDiver 


Assess the coral reef community and health by identifying reef check key indicators of fish, invertebrates/ impacts, and substrates through conducting surveys to collect data for coral reef management and conservation. Certification of Reef Check EcoDiver card and survey tool kits are included.

PADI CoralWatch Coral Health Chart 


Examine the coral bleaching and health for each colony in different survey methods. The chart standardizes changes in coral colors and provides a simple way for people to quantify coral health and contribute to the CoralWatch global database. PADI eCard for the specialty is included.

REEF Fish IORS Experience Level 2 


The Roving Diver Technique is the best survey method to list the species of coral reef fishes to record every observed fish species that can be positively identified and scores of approximate abundance. A total of 65 sp. will be studied. Survey tool kits (slate, data sheet & UW Fish ID guide) are included.

Marine Biology


Introduce divers, snorkelers, and others, to the basic science of marine biology and familiarize them with proper diving techniques for responsible interaction. A total of 30 hours online includes four units of Ocean Environment, Marine Organisms, Marine Ecosystems, and Marine Biodiversity, Threats & Conservation.

Monitoring Survey


Facilitate the assessment of the status of coral reef communities and their associated flora and fauna in a repeatable and relatively inexpensive manner. Understanding the ecological monitoring of the coral reefs. All survey methods for the coral reefs like manta tow, line transects, quadrate, fish visual scene & coral bleaching. Training dives for a marine project. PADI eCard in included.
